"Miss Kitty"
I planned a litter from Sierra for a smooth tri bitch for a friend of mine. Sierra was from her bitch and she had lost both Hurri and a son of his. She would be about 3 to 4 months old when Bonnie came back here for the summer. It was to be a surprise for Bonnie and the breeding produced the desired result. However, it turned out that Bonnie was not ready for another collie at that time - so Sinkona had their first "tri" to stick around. Kit was a handful to raise, she "redesigned" anything that was loose or she felt was her "duty" to take care of. My "mentor" had her as a young puppy for a short stay and during that visit she chewed up a rose bush, thorns and all!!
Kit is my 1st homebred champion! She was trained, handled and shown by me. Two of her three majors were at specialties! She also is my 1st CC of A Versatility Award winner and the first smooth collie to earn a Canadian herding title! My daughter says, "You just needed to have a tri" (my least favorite color - she has been the only one to stick around so far).
She presented me with a lovely litter by Ch. Edenrock The Mask of Society and turned out to be the greatest mother. From that litter there are three CHAMPIONS!!!! She loves all puppies whether they are hers or another's.
