You'll Be In My Heart...Always
Even though Tanya grew up with collies, "Arrow" was her first Collie and her first performance dog. Arrow was unique in temperament and style. Named for the arrowhead pointing up her neck, the only duck she was interested in was the stuffed duck she would bring Tanya to play fetch, especially if she was jealous of the other dogs. The one exercise she loved to perform was the recall/finish, and she performed it to near perfection every time. It made up for the deliberate failed attempts at the agility broad jump, the atrocious heal-free, and almost makes up for the long sit she broke as Tanya was returning to her on the day she would have finished her CD title. Her final performance before she left to join Daiquiri (her mother) and Sierra (her half sister whom she missed deeply), was to give Tanya her son, CH Sinkona's The Lone Ranger PT, NAP, NJP VA ("Ranger"), who in many ways reminds me of his mother, but God willing, will be easier to train. Tanya still misses her every day.
